BECOME THE SUN

Stephan EGYPT is a well-rehearsed trio and have a lot of experience. They really have nothing to do with metal, but rather are deeply rooted in the seventies ("World Eater"), without frantically insisting on retro! Excellent album!! Favorite track: Black Night.

MMJBE In the seventies these guys would habe been "Major league" - not because of a clean production but the mystic vibes EGYPTS music is providing in every single note. The sound is much "deeper" as the first listening suggests. Deep rooted heavy rock.

Really wish this band would be back! Just to "Become the sun!" The talent and the spirit is there!

Steve I switch out my "favorite" every few weeks. As I listen to this heavy, fucking rockin' album, different songs grab me. "Or rbof the Wizard King" is a sludgy, heavy epic. Trying to piece the lyrics together, but Aaron's vocals growl and power thru with torque. It is completely bad ass. I love this fucking band. Favorite track: Orb of the Wizardking.
