One of my favorite albums of all time, actually. When people ask what kind of music I like, I present them this, as it offers a nice mix of atmospheric desert rock, doom metal and heavy psych. A masterpiece.
Favorite track: Queen of All Time (Red Giant).
time tested and approved. Following these guys forever. this group must have been an inspiration to the up-and-coming. the vocals on Valley of the Kings is so pure. if this CD is not in your collection, what are you waiting for.
Favorite track: Valley of the Kings.
Holy smite. Phew. Umm.. Could I hear the album just once more?
Simply mesmerizing, which ends far too quickly, if judging by accounting mere experience. .flac on loop does not disappoint my fellow stoners. I really don't have anything sensible to say. I'll just hit play again. Cheerio. modifier
This band produces souch more than music. It's a freakin interstellar journey set to rolling, pounding drums, deep, unwavering bass lines & light/heavy/screaming guitar... always with vocals helping paint a picture of the journey made. Every K.B. album is psych rock perfection (imo). My pick as "favorite" is only because I saw the live version on their "Quarantine Sessions" that eventually made my head explode (think "Scanners")! Love this band. And I'm not really a psych rock guy. Until now! Steve
